Called the “Niagara of the South,” this waterfall spans 125 feet across the Cumberland River. The falls produce a rare natural phenomenon known as a moonbow, a nighttime rainbow created by moonlight reflecting off the mist.

This railway takes passengers on a journey along the river valleys of the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The train travels along the route once used to transport coal, leading to the historic Blue Heron mining community.

The Natural Arch Scenic Area is home to one of the largest natural sandstone arches in Kentucky. This impressive formation spans roughly 50 feet and rises above the forest floor to create a striking focal point along a short, family-friendly trail.
